VNSA depends on donations from the public for our great book selection. We receive hardback books, paperback books, CD's, videotapes, audiotapes, records, maps, puzzles, and other book-related items from individuals, businesses, libraries and interested supporters.

Books are collected year round. Donations are sorted, priced and boxed for the sale as they are received.

Books that are water damaged, torn, or otherwise determined to be not suitable for our sale are often shared with other nonprofit groups. VNSA provides books to hospitals, schools, the county jail system, shelters, refugee programs and other groups whenever possible.

Books can be donated to the VNSA by scheduling a Pickup, or by using a Drop Box .

Volunteers will arrange to pick up books at donor's homes or businesses.
