Because VNSA wants everyone to have an equal opportunity to purchase books at the sale, we do NOT provide a Preview Sale to the public. Entry to the Sale is on a first come, first served basis FREE of charge.
Location / VenueArizona State Fairgrounds
For the 2015 Book Sale, there will not be a shipping vendor available on-site.
Books and related items donated to VNSA to be sold at the VNSA Used Book Sale are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Internal Revenue Code places the responsibility for estimating the value of the items donated upon the donor, rather than the organization receiving the donation. VNSA does not provide any goods or services in consideration, in whole or in part, for any items donated. VNSA is tax-exempt under IRS Code Section 501(c)(3). For more information, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. If you wish to be sent a receipt for a recent donation, click HERE.
All patrons must walk, not run, when entering the sale and while moving around the building, keeping safety in mind.
Unattended boxes or carts will be resorted and restocked.
Cart contents can be reserved at the secure large purchase area.
All reserved items must be paid for and removed by closing time of that day.
Electronic scanners may be utilized at book tables only; books may not be scooped up and removed from tables for scanning.
Patrons must pay for purchases in the Rare and Unusual, Sets, and Text Categories in the respective area before reentering the main part of the building.
VNSA does not carry books forward to the next year's sale, except for specific, unusual books. Books at the Sale are sold or donated to nonprofit groups. Arrangements for disposal of books are made months in advance of the sale.
